I just hit 500 haircuts on the books since opening my chair in January. Part of me feels proud, part of me feels like I'm just starting.

I read an article about a baker who tracked her first thousand loaves. It said that kind of milestone makes the work feel solid but also opens up the next chapter. Kind of lines up with what @xenaf51 said about keeping it fresh, right?

My buddy opened a food truck and sold his thousandth taco last month. He said the same thing, like the number made it feel both real and brand new. It's a weird spot to be in for sure.
