Switched to a cordless flat iron for house calls and never going back

Did a wedding party of 6 last Saturday with my old corded one and kept fighting for outlets behind the hotel mirror. Bought a $120 cordless model Sunday, used it on a touch-up today, and the freedom of moving around the chair is just plain better. Anyone else made the jump and found the battery drain worse than they thought?
