TIL that using a cheap brush was ruining my blending work this whole time
After 3 years of fighting with patchy shadows, a coworker at my salon in Austin let me try her Sigma brush last month and I finally got why everyone says good tools matter - anyone else have a brush that totally changed your technique?

Oh for real. I had a cheap crease brush that literally looked fine but it just pushed pigment around like a tiny mud scraper. Finally grabbed a MAC 217 after my friend wouldn't stop talking about it and yeah it actually picks up color and lays it down where I want it. I was so mad I wasted two years blaming my eyeshadow formula instead of that stupid brush. Good tools just feel different, hard to explain until you try it.
