Tried a new sectioning method on a client's fine hair yesterday

I used a vertical part instead of my usual horizontal one, and it gave her so much more volume at the crown! Anyone have other tricks for fine hair that actually hold up?

Nice! I've had good luck with point cutting for texture too.
