Blanket forts with a fan vs no fan, total game changer

Last weekend I built a fort in my living room in Austin using my old couch cushions and a twin sheet, but it kept collapsing because the air got too heavy. I tried again with a small box fan blowing low near the floor to keep the sheet puffed up, and that thing stayed solid for three hours of reading. Has anyone else tried airflow tricks to keep their forts from sagging, or do you just rely on strategic pillow placement?

Wait, so we're out here inventing HVAC systems for blanket forts now? Sounds like you're one stiff breeze away from a full-on engineer career.

Ha! Next thing you know I'll be drafting blueprints for a two-story blanket mansion with climate control and a snack elevator. Honestly though, my last fort collapsed because I forgot to account for the cat's demolition rate. Maybe I should just stick to a simple box fan and call it a day before I start measuring airflow in my living room.
