Built a fort with a tension rod instead of chairs and now I can't decide if I love it or hate it
Tried swapping out my usual dining chairs for a single $12 tension rod wedged between my couch and bookshelf on Saturday, and the whole thing held up way better than I expected but it also looked kinda sad and empty. Side A says tension rods are a game changer because nothing shifts when you crawl in, side B says half the charm of a fort is the wonky chair legs and the risk of collapse. I honestly can't tell if I ruined the vibe or upgraded it. Anyone got a strong take on structure vs coziness here?
