Dropped $65 on a weighted blanket for my fort and now I can't get out of it
Ok so I built this fort in my living room corner with two chairs and a queen sheet and it was already pretty good, but I decided to upgrade and got one of those heavy blankets for the floor. It was $65 at the store down the street and I figured it'd make the base all cozy and cushioned. Instead the thing is 15 pounds of pure trap and the second I lay down on it for "just a few minutes" of reading I'm out cold for two hours. My phone died, my tea went cold, and I missed a call from my sister. The worst part is it's actually super comfy so I keep doing it. Now I'm trying to figure out if I put it on top of me instead of under me, or maybe use a thinner quilt for the base and save the heavy one for naps only. How do you all keep your forts from turning into accidental all-day sleep spots?
