Flat sheet vs fitted sheet for the fort roof, and I picked wrong twice
Back when I was a kid in Erie, my dad's old flat sheets were the fort roof. Big, no elastic, you just tucked the corners under the couch cushions. Felt sturdy.
Last month I tried a fitted sheet on the same couch. Thought the elastic would save me time. It popped off the cushions every time my knee hit the middle. Three collapses in one afternoon.
Switched back to a flat sheet and pinned the corners with binder clips I had in the junk drawer. Held for a whole movie night.
The elastic looks like it should help. It just pulls the wrong way. What do you all use on top?
