My aunt's tip about sheet weights changed my fort game entirely

My aunt visited last month and insisted I use heavy comforters draped over the chair backs instead of just tucking thin sheets. I thought she was overcomplicating things, but the fort under my dining room table stayed up for three whole days without one corner slipping. The weight difference is real, plus it blocks way more light for afternoon naps. Has anyone else figured out a trick that seemed unnecessary at first but wound up being the secret to a sturdy structure?
