My ceiling fan killed my fort on the third night, so I rigged the corners with binder clips

I spent like 2 hours on Tuesday building this perfect reading nest on my bed, draped a king sheet over my desk chair and the footboard, weighted it down with my heaviest textbooks. Then at 11 PM I turned on the ceiling fan for air and the whole thing collapsed inward, smacked me in the face, and sent my bookmark flying into my water glass. I learned you need something with actual tension, not just gravity. Binder clips on the sheet edges clamped to the chair arms saved me, but now the fort sways every time the HVAC kicks on. Has anyone else had their setup ruined by air movement, or do I just need to accept sleeping in a still, stuffy room?
