Showerthought: the $18 tension rod is what finally got my fort to stay up
Tried building a fort for reading last month and the roof kept sliding down onto my head. Got an $18 spring tension rod at the hardware place on 5th and jammed it between the couch and the bookshelf. Draped a queen sheet over it and the whole thing held for a solid 3 hours of reading. Has anyone found a smarter way to brace the middle without a rod poking out?
