That time my cat decided my fort was her personal stage

I was at a friend's place in Portland last fall, mid-construction on a killer reading fort with fairy lights, when her cat launched herself at the top blanket and brought the whole thing down on my head. Has anyone else had to rebuild mid-session because a pet decided your fort was their new playground?

Binder clips? Wait, you're telling me you actually used binder clips on your couch? That is wild. I mean, I get why you did it, but those things are sharp as heck. My cat would probably find a way to get tangled in them and then look at me like I ruined her whole life. I respect the hustle though, desperate times call for desperate measures when you're trying to keep a fort intact. Honestly, I'm shocked you didn't just surrender and let the dog have the whole setup.

Man I feel your pain! I started using binder clips to hold the blankets tight to the couch cushions after my dog pulled the same stunt.
