Cold brew concentrate changed my mind after years of hot only

I was always a hot coffee purist, thought cold brew was just a gimmick. But last month I tried making a batch with some Ethiopian Yirgacheffe beans from a local roaster in Portland and let it steep for 18 hours. The smoothness surprised me, no bitterness at all even without sugar. Anyone else find a brewing method they didn't expect to like?

Did you try it black or with cream? Only tried it black once and it was good but I'm wondering if milk takes away from that smooth finish.

Ha, fair question @wright.richard. I actually tried it with oat milk once and it turned the whole thing into a muddy mess - totally killed that clean aftertaste. Black is the only way for that specific roast, I swear.
