Cold brew concentrate ruined my morning... sort of

Tried making cold brew concentrate for the first time last night. Used a 1:4 coffee to water ratio. Let it steep 16 hours. Big mistake. That stuff is super strong. I poured a normal sized cup and added milk like regular coffee. Couldn't sit still for 3 hours. Now I know to dilute it half and half with water. Anyone else get jittery from their first batch?

Couldn't sit still for 3 hours" oh man, I felt that in my bones. Did the exact same thing with my first batch, thought I was gonna vibrate out of my chair at work. Took me a week to find the right ratio of milk to concentrate so I wasn't bouncing off the walls.

OH man, I did the EXACT same thing. Stared at my phone for an hour trying to figure out if I was gonna be productive or just pace around the kitchen. It took me like three tries to get the milk right too. Now I just eyeball it and hope for the best.

Three weeks in and I still haven't found a consistent way to measure the milk. I use a mason jar with a sharpie mark on the side but sometimes that's too much and sometimes it's not enough. Ended up just splitting a batch into two smaller cups so I can test the strength before committing to a full glass.
