Heard someone at the coffee shop mention putting a plant on their desk actually helped them focus

I was eavesdropping on two people talking about their WFH setups and one guy said he added a small snake plant to his desk six weeks ago and his concentration went way up. Made me wonder if the whole "bring nature inside" thing is more than just a trend. I went ahead and put a little succulent on my own desk last Tuesday and I gotta say, the corner feels less like a cubicle now. Does anyone else have a plant that made a difference in how your workspace feels, or is it just placebo?

Wait, you actually put a plant on your desk last Tuesday and it already feels different? That's wild, I figured it would take at least a couple weeks for my brain to register any change like that. I've had a pothos on my shelf for months and honestly never noticed, but now I'm second-guessing myself.

My buddy put a tiny snake plant on his desk and swore the air felt cleaner by day three. Said he stopped getting that afternoon headache. I dunno, maybe plants just work for some people faster.
