Hit 50 hours of deep focus in a month and it flipped my whole desk setup around

I always thought having a cozy desk meant pillows and a warm lamp. But last month I tracked my deep work hours and hit exactly 50 for the first time. Turns out what actually made the difference was finally getting a monitor arm that cleared up all the clutter on my desk. Now I see that cozy for me is about having space to breathe, not just soft stuff. Has anyone else had a specific number change how they think about their workspace?

Fifty hours is impressive. I hit 50 minutes of deep focus once, took a victory lap around my apartment, and then knocked over my coffee mug. So you're doing way better than me, clearly the monitor arm is the real hero here.

Did you see that study about how physical space actually affects your focus levels?

That clutter study blew my mind, cleared my desk the same day.
