My coworker showed me a 99 cent trick for hiding cables

Last Tuesday Jen from accounting walked over to my desk and just stuck a binder clip on the edge. She looped my charging cable through the metal handles and it stopped flopping onto the floor. I had been dealing with that mess for months. Cost me maybe a dollar for a pack of 20 at the office supply closet. Anyone else got cheap fixes like that for their desk?

Oh man that binder clip trick is genius lol. I did something similar with a sticky note and a paper clip for my phone charger at home. Just folded the sticky note over the edge of my desk, poked a hole in it, and stuck the paper clip through so the cable stays put. Costs like nothing and it works way better than those expensive cable organizers you see online. Another thing that helped me was using those little command hooks on the back of my desk. My keyboard cable used to drag across my mouse pad all the time and it drove me crazy. Now it just hangs there out of the way and I don't even notice it.

Same here, I used one of those magnetic phone mounts stuck to the side of my desk. Keeps the cable off the floor and I don't have to play hide and seek when it falls behind everything.
