My neighbor's 6 AM comment made me ditch my floor lamp for good

Last Tuesday at 7 AM I was hauling boxes past my neighbor's porch and he yelled out that my window glow looked like a police interrogation. I laughed it off but then I looked at my desk corner and realized he was right, that single overhead bulb was wrecking the whole vibe. Swapped it for a $30 dimmable desk lamp from Target and added a small warm LED strip behind the monitor. Has anyone else had a random comment from someone who's never seen your setup completely change how you work?
