Pro tip: Someone told me my lamp was too bright and it messed me up for a week
I had this super bright LED lamp on my desk for years, thought it helped me focus. Then a friend came over and said it was like working in a hospital waiting room, all harsh shadows and no warmth. I switched to a smaller 40-watt warm bulb lamp and a cheap $15 desk lamp I aim at the wall instead. Now my neck doesn't hurt at the end of the day. Anyone else get feedback on their lighting that totally changed their setup?

That's the thing with stuff we use every day. Most people get used to bad setups because they never stop to question them. A small tweak like switching your light can change your whole posture and energy without you even realizing how messed up the old way was.

Small tweak is the key phrase here, but it's not just about where the lamp sits. Your brain also adapts to the warmth or coolness of the light, not just the angle. Playing with color temp at different times of day can mess with your sleep cycle if you're not careful.
