Shoutout to the $12 IKEA cable tray that killed my $60 'pro' wire organizer
I tried one of those fancy under desk wire management kits for $60 and the whole thing sagged and popped off in 3 weeks. Then a friend in Portland showed me the cheap IKEA SIGNUM rack, $12, screws right into the wood, and it holds my brick, monitor cable, and ethernet without a wiggle. Everyone online pushes the expensive trays but honestly the cheap one just works better for a lightweight desk. Has anyone found a sub-$20 fix that beat the pricey version for you?
The $60 "pro" kit sagging in 3 weeks is so real, those things are held on by hope and double sided tape. Glad the $12 one actually screwed in and stayed put. Cheap and boring beats fancy and falling apart pretty much every time.
