Switched to a vertical monitor mount after 2 years of neck pain

Kept craning my neck to see both screens on side-by-side arms. One week with the vertical stack and my shoulders actually relax.

That neck craning thing is no joke, I spent a year doing the same and my traps were like rocks. I'm glad you caught it before it turned into something worse. The vertical setup honestly looks weird at first but after a week you realize how much it saves your shoulders. People don't talk enough about how sitting with your head turned to one side all day screws up your whole spine alignment. I bet you're sleeping better too without that constant tension. Feels good to finally have a setup that works with your body instead of against it.

Have you seen that one study where they tracked office workers and found the people who sit with their head turned even slightly to the side end up with like 50% more neck pain than people with centered screens? It's wild how much damage that small angle does over months. Glad you got yours sorted out too.

Did that study also mention how long it takes before the damage becomes permanent?
