Why does nobody talk about hitting 500 hours of studying at the same desk?

I just hit 500 hours logged at my desk studying for the CPA exam and half of me is proud of the consistency but the other half is wondering if all that time in one spot actually hurt my productivity since I spent the last 50 hours redoing my cable management three times has anyone else hit a weird milestone that made you question your whole setup?

Just hit 500 hours and now I know more about cable ties than accounting.

Oh come on, you're acting like that desk time is a bad thing when really 500 hours just means you've gotten way too comfortable in your own head. I'd argue redoing cable management three times is actually a sign you were using your brain in a different way, taking a break from the heavy studying to do something productive with your hands. Sitting in one spot for that long might feel weird but it doesn't hurt productivity, it just makes you notice every little thing around you that you normally ignore.
