Beans in brownies are not a joke, I was wrong for 5 years

I used to roll my eyes so hard at anyone trying to swap black beans for flour in brownies. Like how desperate for fiber do you have to be? But my sister brought over a batch last Christmas and did not tell me until after I ate three. They were fudgy, not dry at all, and actually had more flavor than the box mix I usually grab. I finally tried it myself with a can of kidney beans I had sitting in my pantry for 8 months. Pureed them smooth, added cocoa powder and sugar, and baked at 350 for 25 minutes. My kids ate them without even asking what was different. Has anyone else found a swap that sounded gross but actually saved your dessert?

Avocado in chocolate pudding is way better than it has any right to be.

Been seeing posts about this for a while now, finally tried it last week. Read somewhere that the avocado makes it super creamy without the need for eggs or heavy cream. My batch turned out really smooth and way less sweet than boxed pudding, which I actually liked. Definitely gonna make this again when I have ripe avocados sitting around.
