Hot take: I hit 300 hours in Stardew before I ever finished the Community Center and I think that's the right way to play

Everyone in this community acts like finishing the Community Center in year one is the goal, but I hit 300 hours across two saves before I finally completed it last month, and honestly the slow run was way more fun. I spent whole seasons just fishing at the mountain lake and decorating my farmhouse in Pelican Town instead of chasing bundles, and it never once felt like a chore. The speedrun mindset kind of ruins what makes these games cozy for me. Does anyone else here play this way on purpose, or am I the only one ignoring the bundles?
