Just realized I was overcomplicating my Stardew Valley farm layout

I was talking to a friend last week who said she just plants crops wherever there's space and never uses paths. It hit me that I spend way too much time planning pixel perfect layouts instead of just playing the game. Anyone else get stuck in planning mode instead of actually enjoying the game?

Can't even imagine that kind of pain, how did you not lose your mind? I think I would have just given up the whole game for a week after that.

I got stuck in that loop for a while too, ended up deleting three different saves because the layouts didn't feel right. Just threw down some basic paths and planted wherever felt good last playthrough, and honestly had way more fun. Sometimes you just gotta mess up a season or two to remember why you started playing in the first place.
