My greenhouse wall collapsed during the first storm, repair or rebuild?

I spent 40 hours on a wooden greenhouse frame in my backyard in Ohio and it gave out last Tuesday when wind hit 55 mph. Is it worth patching the joints again or should I just scrap it and go with a cheap plastic hoop house instead? Has anyone else had a build fail that bad and still kept going?

My brother's hoop house in Cleveland blew apart twice before he gave up and went with a metal frame kit. That said, I rebuilt my own wood frame with galvanized corner brackets and anchor bolts into concrete footings, not just stakes, and it survived a 60 mph gust last spring. If you used butt joints with screws only, that's your weak spot, every joint needs a metal bracket or gusset. Wood itself is fine if you brace the corners with cross beams, but it needs way more than what most plans show. If you're sick of patching, I'd say skip the cheap plastic hoop and buy a used metal carport frame on Facebook, they're basically greenhouses with a tarp on top.
