Picked the greenhouse over the barn upgrade, now my cows are judging me
I saved up 45,000 gold in Stardew Valley and had to decide between the greenhouse and the big barn. Went with the greenhouse for year-round ancient fruit, but now I'm stuck with 4 cows in a tiny space and zero room for pigs. Anyone else regret skipping the barn first, or am I the only one who loves their crops more than their animals?

My cows gave me the stink-eye all winter too, maybe they know I'd trade them for truffle oil in a heartbeat. At least the ancient fruit keeps me rich enough to buy them nicer hay.

Greenhouse is the right call, hands down. Ancient fruit pays for a second barn later, and you'll thank yourself in winter when you're still making wine. Cows don't care about space as long as they get fed and petted, they just look grumpy because their faces are built that way. Pigs are a money pit until you get the botanist perk, so you're not missing much. I did barn first once, and it took me way longer to get the greenhouse going. Stick with your crops, the cows will get over it.
