Spent 40 minutes at the library in Boise and their cozy games shelf was a mess
I stopped by the downtown library in Boise last Saturday to kill some time and wandered over to the games shelf. They had a decent little section for calm stuff, but somebody had clearly shoved it all back in with no care. Stardew was wedged sideways on top of two puzzle games, and the Animal Crossing case was empty with the manual still sitting in the slot. There was a sticky note on the shelf that just said 'please ask staff' with no other info, so I have no clue if the cards are behind the desk or just gone. The whole thing bugged me because this is the one spot where kids can grab a chill game without paying $60. I ended up sorting the shelf back into some kind of order before I left, and a staffer walked by and said thanks but looked worn out. Does your local library keep games out or do you have to ask at the counter for them?
