TIL my greenhouse heater doubles my electric bill in winter, oops

So I've been running a little space heater in my greenhouse to keep my seedlings alive, and last month I finally looked at the bill. It went from like $80 to $160, and I honestly had no clue it was that hungry. I found out by tracking the meter before and after turning it on for an hour, that thing pulls 1,500 watts easy. Has anyone else figured out a cheaper way to keep their plants warm without breaking the bank, like maybe a heat mat or some kind of insulation trick?
