Two runs of Stardew, one with the wiki and one without, night and day difference
I tried the wiki approach for my first farm last spring, checking everything before I planted or fished. It felt like homework, always second guessing myself and never just enjoying the seasons. Then last month I started a new farm on a plain map with no guides at all, only what the game tells me. The difference is huge, I actually talk to the villagers and find stuff by accident, like the hidden tunnel near the bus stop. My first farm made 80k by fall, but I was stressed the whole time. The blind run has half the money but twice the fun, and I care about my crops instead of just min maxing them. Has anyone else quit using guides and felt the game get better for it?

Ha, try telling that to my friend who missed the entire greenhouse bundle and quit.
