Why does nobody talk about the old farmer in Mineral Town who remembers your birthday every single year
I was three years into my first Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town save back in 2021 when I walked into the general store on my character's birthday and the shopkeeper handed me a wrapped gift with a note that said I had been a good neighbor. I had never once talked to him outside of buying seeds, so I just sat there for a minute in my kitchen in Akron with the game paused, because some pixel guy on a tiny farm put more effort into my birthday than half my real friends did that year. Did any of you have a character in a farming sim who surprised you like that, or am I just soft about this stuff?
