Appreciation post: a $6 pack of warm white bulbs changed my whole living room
I read on a lighting blog that warm white bulbs sit around 2700K, and cool white jumps to 4000K or higher. Swapped the four bulbs in my ceiling fan fixture from cool white to warm white and the room quit feeling like a dentist office. Same lamps, same furniture, just softer light. It cost me $6 for a two pack at the hardware store on 5th. What's the lowest Kelvin number you'd go before a room looks too yellow?
