My sister swore by a $12 thrift store lamp and honestly she was right
I kept complaining my corner looked dead and she kept saying it needed warm light, not more decor. After 6 weeks of ignoring her I grabbed this ugly brass lamp with a yellow shade for $12 at Goodwill. Plugged it in and suddenly the whole seating area felt like a hug, no joke. Why do we always think we need new furniture when one light source can do the trick? Has anyone else had a cheap lamp totally fix their space?

Read somewhere that warm light tricks your brain into feeling cozy, cheap fix beats new couch every time.
