Please check your outlet before you hang that cute plug-in wall sconce
I grabbed a $15 plug-in sconce for my rental bedroom in Baltimore and hung it right over my pillow, then noticed the cord was warm after about an hour. Turns out I had it plugged into a old power strip under the bed that was already running a space heater. Has anyone else had a plug-in light get hot like that, or did I just get a bad one?
