PSA: those $6 puck lights under the cabinets are not the cozy cheat I hoped for

Put three of them in my kitchen in Boise last month and the light is so harsh and blue it made the room feel like a dentist's office, not a warm little nook. If you want that soft glow, save the 6 bucks and put it toward a plug-in lamp with a warm bulb instead. Has anyone found a cheap puck that doesn't look like a flashlight?
