PSA: warm bulbs over cool bulbs changed my whole basement den for $40
I grabbed a 4 pack of soft white LED bulbs at Menards for $10 because my den felt like a dentist's office under the old bright white ones. Swapping just those 4 ceiling bulbs dropped the whole room into a warm glow and made the couch corner feel like someplace I want to sit at 8pm. Anyone got a cheap lamp or bulb trick that did more for their room than a whole furniture rearrange?
What color temp did you go with exactly, like 2700k or warmer? Asking because 2700k still felt a little cool in my place and going warmer made the bigger difference. Curious if you tried anything lower before landing on the soft white.
