Found my perfect corner lamp at an estate sale for $8

This little brass banker's lamp with a green shade was sitting in a dusty box at some estate sale in a small town outside of Cleveland and now it's the warmest light in my whole reading nook, has anyone else scored something unexpectedly cozy from a random sale?

Did you check the inside of the shade for a maker's mark or patent date? Sometimes those old banker's lamps are worth way more than $8 if they're from a specific company like Emeralite.
