That influencer 'cozy clutter' video got under my skin

Saw some girl on my feed bragging about her 'lived in' shelfie with ferns and candles piled so thick you couldnt see a single spine. She said it looked 'inviting' but honestly it looked like a fire hazard and a dust trap. Ive got a 3 year old and a cat, so my bottom shelves hold board books and a scratch post, not aesthetic knickknacks. Anyone else feel like the cozy look online ignores real life where you need function over pretty props?
