A rigger in Philly told me my hand signals were too fast
He said 'slow down, I'm reading your hands, not watching a movie' when we were setting a 15-ton AC unit last month. I realized I was rushing my signals after a long day. Now I count to two in my head between each move. It feels slow but the crew says it's much clearer. Anyone else get told to change their signal speed?

My buddy Steve had a crane operator last year who insisted on using a specific kind of synthetic sling. He said it cut his setup time by almost half on a tricky residential lift.
