Am I the only one who hated taglines until one saved my load?
I used to see them as a hassle, but after a windy day shift, I won't lift without them.

Totally get it now. Had a half sheet of plywood try to become a kite in a downpour last spring. What finally worked for me was threading the tagline through the strap handle itself before tying it off. That way the wind can't just lift the loose end and undo all your work. Makes it one solid unit. Changed my whole routine.

Yeah, I learned that lesson the hard way too (almost lost a stack of drywall off the flatbed). The trick is to really crank them down tight before you put any tension on the main straps. If they're just kinda flapping, they're useless.
