Blew a hydraulic line over the freeway in Bakersfield, that was a fun call

I was booming up to set a section of duct bank at the 99 interchange and the flex hose at the jib sheared clean off, spraying ATF all over the lanes before I could even get the basket down, and three CHP units showed up while the crane was still parked on the shoulder, has anyone else had a line let go mid-lift or did I just win the worst luck lottery?

Forty feet of ATF mist over 99 and not a single crash, you got lucky. I’d buy a lottery ticket, honestly.
