Come on, 500 hours is barely broken in for those things. @susan_wright34 is right about them being drama free, but you're acting like it's some BIG milestone. It's a work truck, not a retirement party.

500 hours on an LTM 1050 and it snuck up on you? That's the thing nobody talks about with these smaller cranes - they're so reliable you forget to check the meter. I've seen guys run them for years and the hours just pile up without any drama. The engine probably hasn't coughed once, so there's no reason to even glance at the dash. Makes you wonder how many of those hours are actual heavy lifts versus just setup time and waiting around.

Honestly that's the same thing that happens with my old washing machine. I got it used about four years ago and I swear I never even think about it until I accidentally kick the side or something. You just get used to stuff working right and then one day you realize it's been humming along for hundreds of cycles without a hiccup. Same with my buddy's Jeep he bought for like two grand. He drove it for three years before he even checked the odometer and it was already at 180k miles. It's like the stuff that actually lasts never gives you a reason to pay attention to it.
