Switched to a tag line system after 14 years of hand signals
Used to swear by hand signals on every lift, even in the rain. Last spring at a job near Tacoma, a misread signal almost dropped a 4-ton steel beam on a dumpster. Now I use a tag line on anything over 2 tons, and honestly it's smoother and safer. Anyone else make the switch after a close call?
