Tried a new tagline setup on a windy day in Spokane and it almost went bad
We were moving some steel beams across a site with a 15 mph crosswind, so I tried a double tagline setup I saw online. The load started to spin like a top about 20 feet up, and I had to set it down fast. Learned that extra lines can catch wind differently than you plan for. Anyone have a good method for windy day rigging on taller picks?

Ever see what happens when a big tarp on a flatbed gets loose in a gust? We had one tear free and wrap around a light pole like a giant plastic flag. Makes you think about how much air even simple stuff can catch. That load spinning must have been a real gut check.

Oh come on, a tarp's not gonna flip a whole load if it's tied down RIGHT.

Did you see that study on how much lift a loose tarp can generate at highway speeds?
