Had to choose between a dragon marriage or a cursed sword for my fantasy story
I picked the sword because I figured a cursed weapon at least has a manual. Now my character won't stop talking to it and the sword keeps demanding a better sheath.

Dude I gotta ask - what kind of stuff does the sword say to him? Like is it giving him life advice or just complaining about the weather and his grip? Because if my sword started yelling at me about my fashion choices every time I swung it, I'd probably just leave it in a drawer. But if it's actually useful, like warning him about traps or telling him the best time to strike, that might be worth putting up with the nagging.

Ha! Right @clairen85, my sword just lectures me about not using a coaster with it and grip technique. Its a real buzzkill but it did save me from a mimic once, so I guess I'll keep it.
