Overheard a guy at the library say his plot twist came from a typo

I was sitting near this writer at the library cafe last weekend and he told his friend the whole ending of his story changed because he accidentally wrote "tomb" instead of "tome" in a scene. Made me wonder if sometimes our mistakes can actually be better than what we planned. Anyone else ever had a random accident turn into something good in their writing?

idk, I once fumbled a name and the character ended up way more interesting.

Wait, a typo basically wrote his whole ending? @reesel50 that's wild, I love how a dumb mistake can spark a whole new direction.

Read that minor mistakes can unlock better storytelling. @drew_reed62 you're onto something.
