Heard a guy at the flea market in Tulsa say his coin sleeves were ruining his 1964 quarters
He was going on about how the cheap PVC sleeves from the dollar bin leave a green film on silver after a year or two, and he had a 1964 quarter to prove it. I went home and checked my own binder from 2019, and sure enough three of my quarters had that same dull haze on the rims. Has anyone switched to the Mylar ones, and did it actually stop the damage or just slow it down?
