Just found a 1970s lunchbox at a garage sale for $3

I was digging through a box of old toys in some lady's driveway in Akron last Saturday and spotted a metal Star Trek lunchbox with the thermos still inside. Got it home and looked it up online, it's worth about $150 if I clean it up a bit. Has anyone else found something cheap that turned out to be way more valuable than you thought?

Oh wow! My friend found a vintage PEZ dispenser for a quarter, sold it for $200.

@patricia558 yeah I read about a lady who found a rare coin in her couch and got 20 grand for it.

Read something last week about a guy who found a first edition Harry Potter book at a library sale for a dollar and it sold for over $5,000. Those garage sale finds can be wild, you never know what's sitting in some old box. Nice score on the Star Trek lunchbox, definitely worth the three bucks.
