My friends are selling their vinyl and I think it's wrong

I've noticed a lot of people getting rid of record collections lately. It seems like the culture is shifting to digital only, which kills the personal touch of physical collecting. Am I crazy for wanting to hold on to my stuff?

My buddy sold his whole collection last year and totally regrets it now.

Wait, what? He sold the ENTIRE thing, @harpery47? Every single piece? I feel a little sick just hearing that. I can't even imagine the regret now, that's like a permanent goodbye to a huge chunk of your past. There's no going back from that, it's just gone.
