Picked up a box of old keys at a yard sale in Spokane for $3, started sorting them by shape, and ended up with a weirdly satisfying display.

Oh man, that is such a good find! I did the same thing with a jar of random buttons from my grandma's house. Sorting them by color and size was weirdly calming, and now I have them in little glass dishes on a shelf. There's something about organizing small, tactile things that just hits different. Your key display must look so cool!

Yeah, sorting small stuff is the best kind of brain break. Read something once about how it uses a different part of your mind, like you're just focusing on shape and color instead of problems. Totally get what you mean, @grant.felix. I do it with loose change sometimes, just stacking pennies by year. Makes a real mess look neat and you can actually see what you've got.
